More about Mary Allison

Born and raised in Mississippi, I grew up with grandmothers that loved to cook, decorate their homes, and look fashionable in their own special ways.  They passed their love of homemaking down to me, and now it's my passion in life to share with the world what I love to do.  Southern Magnolia Home was started on my dining table in 2016 painting custom designs for homes.  From there, our first little storefront was opened six weeks before Covid shut down the whole nation.  But God provided like He always does, and I used that time to work from home, grow my business on social media, and we opened our second larger storefront in 2021.  Southern Magnolia is truly my "baby", and I'm so excited about where it's going! 

I'm the wife of 16 years to my sweet husband Dusty, and Mama to Allie (14) and Hayden (12). We're in the middle of our sports era as parents, but we love every minute of it! When we aren't in the gym or on the soccer field, you can find me blogging or writing, in the kitchen cooking up a new recipe, or working on my latest home project.  I love to travel as much as possible, and get to do that quite often with work.  God has been so good to me, and I love to share the talents He's given me with everyone I can!
